Apple of My Eye

Although I've always been irked by the slogan "Think Different" (the grammar, or the punctuation, depending on how you look at it), the sentiment of it has been an inspiration for nearly fifteen years:
"Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."
From that first Macintosh SE with its 256K external hard drive I had 22 years ago, to the 64G wonder of an iPhone in the palm of my hand today, Jobs' innovations with Apple have improved my life in incredible ways. Steve Jobs was one of those geniuses, someone who could fully envision what most people couldn't even begin to imagine. He was one of The Truly Great. May he rest in peace...
