Wynham’s soccer season came to a close yesterday and it couldn’t have ended on a higher note, with a win in triple overtime.
Wynham acted as goalie for the final penalty kicks, and they won on the last kick.
Talk about pressure; wow!
It was an exciting finale, to say the least.
I was still trying to savor the thrill of victory on the way home from the game when he said, “Mom, let’s stop on the way home so I can buy a football.” And wait, doesn’t basketball season start in two weeks?
