I love seeing what the kids bring home in their pockets when they return from their adventures, even if it's only as far as the backyard (where Jack unearthed the horseshoe). The beach glass came from Kirby Cove, the round rock from Angel Island, and the hawk feather from along the banks of the Klamath River. I'm glad Claire and Jack see the value in these simple treasures...
